A full exterior repaint isn't always what a home needs. Sometimes the siding is perfectly fine - it's the trim, soffits, and fascia that have gone dull, chalky, or just dated. That's exactly what we were working with here.
We painted everything but the siding on this home. That includes the trim around every window, the metal soffits, and the fascia running the roofline. It's a scope of work that gets overlooked a lot, but it carries a ton of visual weight. Fresh, clean trim makes the whole exterior feel intentional and sharp.
The color shift is where this really comes together. The garage doors went from white to a deep olive green, the decorative brackets went dark, and the trim around the entry got a clean, contrasting update. The before and after on this one is a good reminder that color does the heavy lifting - you don't have to touch the siding to change how a house reads from the street.
Metal soffits and fascia take a beating from the elements. They expand and contract with temperature changes, which means paint adhesion has to be done right or it'll peel fast. Proper prep and the right products for metal surfaces aren't optional - they're what separates a paint job that lasts from one that starts failing in a season or two. That's the kind of detail we pay attention to on every exterior painting job we take on.
The end result is a home that looks updated, cohesive, and well cared for - without the cost or disruption of a full exterior repaint. For a lot of homeowners, this approach hits the sweet spot between budget and impact.
